Will the credit score for Experion, Equifax and transunion Differ?

My score for Experion is 680, should I expect the same with Equifax and TranUnion.

Will the credit score for Experion, Equifax and transunion Differ?

I have been dealing with peoples credit reports for almost 10 years and I have never seen al 3 bureaus the same. I have seen over a 100 point difference so take a look at all of them. I know that mortgage companies will use the mid score and car dealerships will use the highest score.

In some cases they may be off by a slight difference of +/- 1 point.

They will all be different because different companies report to different creditors.

Sometimes they will vary slightly. You should check all three.

They usually differ. Make sure you get copies of all three to make sure the information is correct. When you apply for credit only one of the three is used, so info is reported differently.

You should expect the three agencies to give slightly different scores, but most credit granting organizations will look at only one. Your score, typically a Beacon Score or FICO score uses info gathered from slightly different sources. You can get all three and compare the info on each at freecreditreport.com

You should expect them to be reasonably close, but should check just in case.

Yes, and quite often there will be varying reports of each agency/company you have credit with and liens/judgments/bankruptcies. That%26#039;s why it%26#039;s important to check all three and make sure they are recording and reporting good and true data.

Will the credit score for Experion, Equifax and transunion Differ?

No they are almost never the same. Every one uses a scoring module. Each is different. Also a company may not report to experion but only to equifax. So if it is a bad mark then can pull scores down. I have looked at credit reports for about 10 years and I have seen as much as a 125 point spread in scores. That is why most lenders will use the middle score when grading your credit.
