The law states that individuals are allowed by law to obtain a free credit report once a year from each of the three major credit bureaus. However, they are not obligated to give a credit score. I simply call my banker (credit union) and he tells me anything I want to know. Being a good customer and having a good relationship with my banker makes life sooooooooooo simple !!

I have a credit card through Washington Mutual and I can see my credit score for free for a year on their website. If you have any credit cards, try signing onto their websites to see if they might do the same. Good luck!
