How do I find out my credit score without signing up for a newsletter or paying a service fee?

I just want the score, I don%26#039;t want the report. I just want something that tells me my score without having to sign up for anything, no committments, just tell me my score and get out of my life, kind of thing.

Unfortunately, I don%26#039;t believe such a service is available. The law states that individuals are allowed by law to obtain a free credit report once a year from each of the three major credit bureaus. However, they are not obligated to give a credit score. You have to pay for those. Sorry that it isn%26#039;t better news.

annualcreditreport.com...It%26#039;s the only free way on the internet to check your credit. You will not receive your beacon score, i.e. 650, but you will et a list of all your creditors, past and present. Don%26#039;t worry, there%26#039;s no strings attached b/c this site%26#039;s sponsored by the federal gov%26#039;t.

You bank that you do business with can do this for you. IF they will not then pack up your money and take your business elsewhere.

I simply call my banker (credit union) and he tells me anything I want to know. Being a good customer and having a good relationship with my banker makes life sooooooooooo simple !!

: )

Happy Friday !!

I have a credit card through Washington Mutual and I can see my credit score for free for a year on their website. If you have any credit cards, try signing onto their websites to see if they might do the same. Good luck!
