Is there an easy way to find out my credit score?

I%26#039;ve been told that supposedly I can get a free credit report once a year but it seems that most places online either charge you or force you to enroll as a member on their website. Is there a simply way I can just look it up?

The only place sanctioned by the U.S.Government is www.annualcreditreport.com.

The report is free, but you must pay if you want your score.

And do not even think about taking the second posters advice, per the Privacy Act salespeople are not even allowed to see your credit score, only the Finance Manager and the lenders see it.

You have to pay for your score. If you go with one of the 30 day free trials, you can see all three for free, then you have to cancel it before the 30 days is up. The freecreditreport.com type sites give you access to your report, but no score without paying.

The only other way to get your score for free is if you get denied for credit when applying. The creditor will tell you who denied you, then you can get your score for free.

When you do pull your report, do a credit cleanup to get your score high. Check out the article below to see how.

Hope this helps.
